Accessibility and accommodations
Tell us what you need. Where we reasonably can, we will make it work.
Course accommodations
Students sometimes need support to take part fully. Common requests include a reading accommodation for the written test, extra time, a quieter seating position, mobility considerations, or help with English as an additional language.
If you have accessibility or other special needs, please contact us before you book. This lets us confirm and arrange the right support for your class in advance.
Accommodations for the written and practical tests must fit within the federal safety course program's rules, so some requests need approval before your course date. Tell us what you need and we will confirm what is possible before your class. We may ask for a short note describing the support you need; we do not need your medical details.
Venue accessibility
Classes are held at community venues, and accessibility varies by location. If you have mobility or other access needs, contact us before booking and we will confirm parking, entrances, washrooms and step-free access for your date.
Website accessibility
This site is built to follow WCAG 2.2 AA practices: semantic headings, keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus indicators, sufficient colour contrast, descriptive link text and alternative text on meaningful images. Motion is kept minimal and reduced-motion preferences are respected.
If you hit a barrier on this website, tell us what page you were on and what happened, and we will fix it.
